Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan Campus, College of Education, Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt. Jandiala Road & Royal World International School celebrated Basant Panchmi with the great enthusiasm. The day began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati and children recited Gayatri Mantra. The tiny tots of INNOKIDS came in yellow dresses and brought yellow food in their tiffin. The li’l ones were excited. During special assembly, the importance of the Basant was explained to them. The children recited poems and presented choreography “Basant Aaya Re Har Mun Bhaya Re”. On this occasion, the students promised to not to fly kites and avoid the usage of Chinese thread. The school was decorated with kites. The students wrote paragraph on Basant Panchmi. The Director Principal School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati mentioned that as the spring comes weather changes. The children sang song “Phoolo ka kaisa Mahina Aaya”. The certificates were awarded to the winners of the competition.
In the College of education Kite - flying and yellow dish competitions were organized by the student-teachers in the college campus. Judgment was done and prizes were given to winners. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh
encouraged the student-teachers to carry out such practical activities in future also.
