INNOKIDS
of Innocent Hearts (GMT, Loharan, CJR and Royal World International School)
devoutly celebrated the festival of Shivratri. On this occasion many of the
students came dressed as Lord Shiva.
There was an air of excitement and
enthusiasm all around. A tableau of the complete family of Lord Shiva was
displayed by the little ones in which they displayed Lord Shiva, Maa Parvati,
Sh. Ganesh Ji, Sh. Kartikeya, Nandi and many others too.
A street Play was put
up on this occasion and also the ‘Tandav’ dance. Religious songs on the
greatness of Lord Shiva filled the air with spirituality. INNOKIDS Incharge Ms.
Gurmeet Kaur (GMT), Ms. Alka Arora (Loharan), Ms. Nitika Kapoor (CJR) and Ms.
Pooja Rana (Royal World School) explained that these activities are conducted
in the school to make the little ones aware of their culture, heritage and
related festivals.
The teachers told the story of Lord Shiva in the classes and explained the importance of such beliefs. They said that such morals and motives help us to have a life full of joy and excitement lived with honour so all festivals should be celebrated with heartfelt involvement and happiness.
