Under the aegis of Innocent Hearts Group, Royal World School celebrated
a devotional day “Ek Din Us Rabb Ke Naam “The Chief Guest for the occasion was
Mrs. Baljinder Kaur Lubana, Councillor Ward No 5. The celebrations began with
the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Vice - Principal and Cultural Head–
Mrs. Sharmila Nakra and Mrs. Meenakshi - Incharge of
Royal World School followed
by Saraswati Vandana. The Welcome address was given by Ms. Jasdeep. Class VIII
performed to the tune of, “Om Gan Ganpati Namo Namah ” mesmerizing the audience
. Class V held all spell bound during “O Palan Hare Nirgun O Nayare” This was
followed by a heartfelt rendition of “Give me oil in my lamp” by Class VII.
Class VI performed to “Tu hi Ram Hai Tu
Hi Rahim Hai ” and last but definitely
not the least , Class IV raised all hearts to the sky with “Teri hai Zameen
Tera Aasmaan.” Vice Principal and Cultural Head – Mrs. Sharmila Nakra
appreciated the efforts of the staff and students and said that the family will
continue with such changes in the Royal World Branch. The vote of thanks was
tabled by Ms. Minakshi - Incharge Royal World School.
