INNOCENT HEARTS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION JALANDHAR ORGANISED FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME


Working on the philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore that a lamp can only light another lamp when it continues to burn in its own flame, Innocent Hearts College of Education Jalandhar organised Faculty Development Programme on the topic ‘Online Educational Resources’ on August 25, 2018. The resource person for the event was Mr. Gurpreet Singh Assistant Professor from IT Department, Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan Campus.
The main focus of this teacher training workshop was usage of “Information and Communication technology” in the teaching-learning process.Mr. Gurpreet Singh demonstrated the usage of Youtube, online learning resources and presentations.In the interaction session, the participants were encouraged to use the ICT tools and discuss ICT based curriculum. The queries were answered by the resource person, new ideas and suggestions were given.
In the practical session, the teachers and would-be teachers gained knowledge about the modern and pragmatic methods and techniques of teaching like usage of online videos andYoutube,video conferencing etc. Principal Dr.Arjinder Singh thanked the resource person and said that such ICT workshops help to improve and develop the quality of education.

ਇਨੋਸੈਂਟ ਹਾਰਟਸ ਸਕੂਲ, ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ ਦੀ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਜ਼ਿਲ•ਾ ਤਾਈਕਵਾਂਡੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਡਰ-17 ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੋਨ ਤਗਮੇ ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਸਕੂਲ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਤਗਮੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਲ•ਾ ਪਧੱਰੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਰਾਜ-ਪਧੱਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਲਈ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਲਾ-ਬਲਾਸਮ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ। ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਧੀਰਜ ਬਨਾਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸ਼ਰਮੀਲਾ ਨਾਕਰਾ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਖੇਡ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਮੈਨਜਮੈਂਟ ਨੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜ-ਪਧੱਰ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਬੌਰੀ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਐਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਂਡ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟਰਸਟ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਡਾ. ਅਨੂਪ ਬੌਰੀ ਨੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਤੋਂ ਟਯੂਸ਼ਨ ਫੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਇਨੋਸੈਂਟ ਹਾਰਟਸ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਐਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ, ਅਟੈਂਡੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਸ ਹੈਲਪਰਾਂ (ਮੇਡ) ਲਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪਰਵੀਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਿਨਹਾ (ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ.) ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ (ਏ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਪੀ. ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ) ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਐਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਏ.ਐਸ.ਆਈ. ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 'ਸੇਫ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਾਹਨ' ਸਕੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਹੈਡ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਚਿੰਨ•ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਬਸ ਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਏ.ਐਸ.ਆਈ. ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ, ਕੰਡਕਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਲਪਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਹੁ ਚੁਕਾਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਆਪਣਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਰਤਾਵ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ (ਸਕੂਲਜ਼) ਧੀਰਜ ਬਨਾਤੀ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਇਸ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਧੀਰਜ ਬਨਾਤੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਪੁਲਿ...
