Innocent Hearts Group of Institution organized world tourism
day in its Loharan campus, the guest of the event was Executive Chef Rahul
Rawat from Radisson jalandhar, Prof. Deepak Paul Principal Hotel of Management
address by highlighted the theme and purpose of celebrating the day and its
importance in the Travel and Tourism Industry. The celebration was based on
theme Tourism and Culture protection, Promoting Universal Accessibility,
Department organized various events like Country Mania, Cover setup, Napkin Folding, Mock-tail
preparation, Bed Making, Rangoli, One Minute Manager, Model Making by B.Sc. ATHM
students.
On this day, awareness was raised on importance of Tourism
and its social, cultural, political and economic values, among teaching &
non-teaching faculty members. Dr Shailesh Tripathi, Group Director said it is
important to understand the responsibility by paying attention towards the
upliftment of tourism standards in our country. Like our students, every
citizen should take a pledge to promote tourism and to be a responsible citizen.
