Innocent Hearts Organized the Annual Prize Distribution Function: Vidhi Jain Declared the “Student of the Year” Students’ Faces Lit with Ecstasy
Under the
aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Innocent Hearts School
conducted Annual function. The children presented a vibrant program. The Mayor of Jalandhar Sh. Jagdish Raj Raja graced
the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal was the Guest of Honour.
The program began with the kindling of lamp which was accompanied by Shlokas in
Praise of Goddess Saraswati. This was followed by Shiv Aradhna. Students of Classes X and XII who crossed 90 percent
in the CBSE Board Examination were awarded prizes. The academic achievers of Class
XI and XII were awarded scholarship cheques. Vidhi Jain was awarded the student
of the year prize for her overall excellence and also awarded a cash prize of
5100 which was sponsored by Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal in the
memory of Archit and Dhruv. 355 students were awarded prizes. International,
National, state and district champions of the Sports were also awarded prizes. The Trust gives fee concession to the sports persons
of the school. Director Principal School Mr. Dheeraj Banati highlighted the
ways in which the Bowry Memorial Trust serves the society through its various
activities. He also mentioned that the trust helps in academic as well as
medical field by holding
free medical camps and distributing free medicines. The Trust has adopted children to provide
financial aid and spends 56 lakh 19 thousands and 9 hundred 89 rupees for this purpose.
The Chief Guest- Sh. Jagdish Raj Raja applauded
the works of the school in academics and imbibing moral values among students. He praised the initiatives of the Trust which
helps in betterment of the society. On this occasion latest issue of Magazine –
News and Views was also released. The show was totally “Of the students, By the Students and
for the students.” At the culmination of the event, Secretary Innocent Hearts
Dr.Anup- , Dr, Chander- Secretary Medical Services and Director Principal – Mr.
Dheeraj Banati presented a token of love to the Guest of Honour. The House to
win the Maximum Prizes through the year was “Teresa” and was awarded ‘House of
the Year Trophy’. The program ended with the National Anthem.
