The INNOKIDS
section of all four schools of Innocent Hearts (GMT, Loharan, CJR and Royal
World School) attended a one-day Adventure Camp at Camp Comrade, Phagwara.
This
camp is conducted by the members of ‘Rocksports’. The camp was conducted over a
two-day period and around 400 students of KG I and KG II participated in it. A
number of activities were conducted for the little ones.
The children had a
gala time on the ‘Zip-line’. In addition to activities like Commando Net,
Balance Beam, Burma bridge, Horse Hurdle, Sport Climbing, Double Rope Bridge,
Body Zorb, the kids also learnt to make pottery with their hands. After a
sumptuous lunch the little ones danced with abandon to the beats of the D.J.
It
was compulsory for each child to experience ten activities. Innokids incharges
Ms. Gurmeet Kaur(GMT), Ms. Alka Arora(Loharan), Ms. Nitika Kapoor(CJR) and Ms.
Pooja Rana(RW) said that these outdoor activities along with academics help in
the all round development of the students. Executive Director Schools, Ms.
Shally Bowry explained that the management organizes these activities in order
to help instill self confidence in the tiny tots from an early age.
